i've got about an extra 10bhp, and have spent around 700 quid on performance mods, however the torque curve etc is spot on and pulls all through the range so is much nicer to drive. I've got sports cat, stealth system and a viper with custom feed, i also have no back seats lol. I'd def strip it and get coillovers before you do anything else however. To be honest the biggest difference was made when i changed the position of the feed from the grille to the original place. If you want details pm me :)

with cams your best bet is kent cams,i am considering this but dont know whether i can warant the cost, so prob just gonna go for an engine conversion

what should i strip, need front seats, also i love my music so if i take the back seats out will just put speakers in, how much would a set of 2x 15inch subs way me down?

nope, i wouldnt have said so unless you spend stupid money like putting a turbo etc on it. Prob looking at around 100 with cams. As dave says, prob not the best way to spend your money, as an engine conversion can cost as little as about 4k. Getting the subs out will make ahuge difference, also forget things like 17s bodykit etc etc. Light weight 15s, stripped with induction and exhaust with a good set of coilovers is the way to get the best out of your 1.2. And dont forget good tyres as well. I can beat standard vtrs etc etc from a handling point of view

y's that, are they just born to be slow, is it possible to get 120+ bhp out of it?
Yep if you have the money it won't be chap a few grand at least I'd budget £3k and possible more like £4k.

im not into the hole bodykit thing, think they look silly, just want to go carbon bonnet, nice set of wheels, lowered and leave it pritty much standared body wise so i can surprise people off the lights,

def get an engine conversion then, and have to agree i love my carbon bonnet, although its debatable whether it saves THAT much weight. As i said defo get a sports cat, viper and and stealth system, even if nothing else your car will sound like its got an engine without any obvious tailpipe

What the heck are 20/20 cams?

Best gains are a whole new engine you'll spend a fortune to get 120hp from it.
