1.2 16v service

Well before 5 oclock yesterday i would of typed out a glowing report of my clios first service, i was offered a lift into work after i dropped it in, and they phoned me up a couple of times during the day to tell me what they were up to. By 2 oclock i was amazed by the fact they were finished and they arranged to pick me up at 5, fab!

When i arrived i found out why they were so nice to me....the service and new wiper blades cost me £230 Rip off merchants!

Holy scott! Was that the 18k/2 yr service?

Thats a hell of alot. I paid £170 for my service, i thought the 172 service was supposed to be more than the other models.

ah renault leeds with their amazing increase in pricing was 140 afew days before it went in then on the day 170 and they told me its the same price all over the country !!!!!1

that is astronomical.

write them a letter and ask them to clarify what cost are associated with the different aspects of a normal service, and then ask them to justify your bill.

if you dont question it, you wont know...

one good thing was with my service they didnt say anything about the exhaust except it was f**king loud

The exhaust isnt covered on the warranty Mikey boy so they dont give a shiney one..

I asked while i was there yozza, it was there standard charges which were the heavy ones, and so were unavoidable

@ my dealer in stourbridge they have quoted me between £120-£127.
