1.2 8v cambelt issues

has anyone ever done a cambelt on one of these? Ive only got w/s manuals for the F4R engine so havent got a clue about timing it up etc.

Any tips or tricks?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

easy peasy! tipex and you're done (there are actually timing marks, just so you know)

id already thought about that one, trouble is the cambelt has broken so i have to re-time the engine. thats after ive replaced any bent valves etc etc etc

Cam pulley has a mark that points at 12 o'clock and the crank pulley has a mark that points at 6 o'clock.
Your new timing belt should have 2 white lines on it, the whit lines line up with your 6 and 12 o'clock marks!

They r piss easy. Mark on topcam should b at 12 oclock, bottom at 6 oclock, also shoulda markson flywheelnear tdc sensor. If all else fails remove spark plug in number1 cylinder and check the position of the piston. it shouldb at the top.
