1*2 backbox problems (pics)

I'm a bit stumped here.
I've just replaced my rear exhaust mount with one that I bought off ebay. my previous mount had no rubber left in it pretty much and the metal snapped in half as i removed it. :S

It's pressed the backbox right up into the heatsheild and it's touching the car.
sounds great from inside the car but not a good idea as the backbox is going to be getting warm.

What's going on? Wrong backbox?

the mount is going straight across, whereas it should be on more of an angle to drop the box down silightly.

unless its the wrong backbox and too heavy, that mount doesnt look brilliant either

Are there any joins from the cat-back that could have been fitted wrongly, so the rear box is twisted anticlockwise a bit??

if no did you remove the system entirely?

I reckon your right. There is a join in it. It doesent looks like a nice weld either. :S

I didnt remove the system no. It has a 182 manifold and the (not so good) ktec custom length decat in there. Maybe that has twisted it a little. But there is defo a cut in it.
Damn, knew I shoulda got a stealth. Cant really afford one atm.
