if you get the pads from halfords, they wont have anything listed for 1.2 mk2 clio, if you look under clio williams those are the pads you need (yes mk2 1.2 do use same pads as mk1 williams)
hope thats some help, confused the crap outa me when i bought my pads lolJust changed mine to these.
Much better than stock but do stink when you are giving it death!

brembo Max disc's and Mintex Extreme pads good set up for fast road...
They will stop only should stink first time giving them a bedding in then never again.
Depedns what you deem as a bed in I give them a decinet workout for about 20 minutes so they fade a bit and they never stink again.
Somethings gone wrong then you've not put the pads in right or they needs greasing up.
The backs copper greasing you mean?
The pads are deffo in correctly its the discs uneven surface that causes the heat.
It really needs replacing but I am selling in 2months and cba with the expense.
Despite this they seem to stop me from 60 about 15 foot earlier (115 ft) than the last set of pads.
