1.2 brakes - valver brakes

You need the calipers, caliper brackets (ie the bits which attach the hub to the caliper. Also the disks.

iv got all the bits just need to fit them, you need:

calipers, discs, pads, hub/carrier, shocks (unless you already have 54mm bolt spacing) and brake lines

you dont need the shock at all.

you just need the 16v calipers, 16v caliper carriers, 16v caliper carrier bolts, 16v discs and 16v brake pads.

you maye need 16v brake lines depending upon the fitting on your 1.2 but i havent heard of anyone else having difficulty so you should be fine without.

No i havent but ive sold 16v bits to a chap whos done it.

AFAIK the only issue with the break lines will be that theyre the wrong fitment for screwing into the 16v caliper. However, as i said, i havent heard of anyone needing break lines for this...

Shoudl be fine 95% of the time wiht std brake lines fro the 1.2, althoguh while you are doing it why not fit some braided ones

if you read my post properly, you will notice it says "SHOCKS (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE 54MM SPACING" meaning if the spacing for your hubs 52mm you will need the shocks to fit the 16v hubs on as they are 54mm!! ok not sure if you do need the hoses but i was told by the guy whos done this exact conversion i would, but im fitting goodridge hoses anyway

There isnt any need to change the hub thou, so no need to change the shocks anyway

since when was the hub a deciding factor on whether or not you could fit solid or vented discs?

i may be wrong, but i thought the only thing you had to worry about was the calipers/carriers (to cope with the extra thickness of disc)

^^ Correct.

The hub makes no difference at all.. the calipers can just take thicker vented discs.. whereas standard calipers only have space for solid discs.
