may do, mine came on, i knocked it off using diog equipment, then it stayed off for a year before coming on while traveling to fcs it doesnt make the car perform any different when its on just fecking annoying

i just welded a bit of pipe in if you got a 8v i have one for sale

and bashing cat out has same effect

ie still can put light on

Smashed the insides of mine out and no lights... yet. Been about a month now.

Plan on welding pipe in instead at some stage instead...

Maybe 1-1.2k miles I guess.

It's no problem if it does come on, just plug a fault reader in and it resets it... or just put up with the light being on as it has no negative effect (I sh*t myself when the petrol light comes on though so...).

Haha petrol light. It done my heed in when it was on for a week went my o2 sensor snapped. I heard when you put a fault finder it comes back on 1k is there a way of making it permanently off?

Seriously lol.. I see a light and think "Sh*t what have I done?" then realise what it is.

It might not come on at all, it might come in every 10 miles after resetting. It's completely random for everyone AFAIK.
