1*2 engine mounts

I will be replacing all three mounts as soon as possible.

I am not overly concerned about the cost as I will be fitting myself. What I would like to know is whether or not I should bother with aftermarket engine and top box mounts.

So, standard mounts with poly dogbone or all aftermarket? (solid)

Any recommendations?

It all depends on what you use the car for, I have the uprated vibra technics mounts and powerflex dogbone mount. I really like how it stiffened everything up. They cause a bit more vibration but to be honest once they had bedded in for a week they are fine. I decided that it wasn't worth running the risk running standard mounts with my RS2 manifold, and having a decatted yozza also means that comfort isn't something that overly concerned me.

To be honest its just my daily, never been on track but I try to drive it like a hooligan when I have an empty road infront. Otherwise a totally standard car.

Sounds like a plan then.

I will get in touch with Adam and get the standards ordered up. With the dogbone, is it easy enough to fit the new bushes and where would I get them cheapest?

loads of places sell them online, theres a few sellers popular on here too.
Easy enough to get out, might need to make a puller with some studding to push the old bush out mind you thats what I did and it wasnt difficult
