Hi all, I'm in a real pinch. I bought my 182 in February with a ruined clutch kit and had it reconditioned (my mistake) so my clutch kit needs to be replaced again asap, this time with a proper OE matching part. As for my flywheel, that was also sent in for skimming at the same place that reconditioned (scammed) me, and they removed the step height completely. So this time I found a proper racing engineer locally who should be able to give me his opinion on whether my flywheel is still salvagable or FUBAR. I'd just like to know if anyone has the step height measurement for this flywheel as the engineer isn't a Renault specialist, so I doubt he'd have that info to hand.
I'm in South Africa where 1*2 parts are next to non-existent, and I'd prefer not to import from the UK/EU. Now I know according to NorthloopCup that these flywheels are not the strongest and removing material isn't ideal, but I've got little other option. If it is indeed FUBAR though, I would consider a secondhand good condition flywheel.
