1.2 tce plugs

I need to change the plugs on my Clio 1.2 tce. I’ve just had a price from euro car parts of £95 😲
Is that right also what plug would you recommend ?

NGK ILKAR7J7G (91121) are the plugs you want.

Usually around £15 per plug.

Ok, I’ve just removed the plugs and they are Denso. Condition looks ok and they’re a nice colour.
What should the gap be ?

No idea, they don't list the gap.

Somewhere between 0.7-1.0mm should be fine.

Similar to stock 172/182 plugs then, they're 0.9-1.0mm.

Must have bee replaced at some point as i don't think Denso are the factory fit.

The genuine Renault plugs were denso I'm sure! Thymey definitely weren't NGK! I remember doing a first service on one and being surprised when I pulled out non NGK plugs

Thinking about it, if they're based on Nissan units then they probably are Denso

It's based on the old Renault d4f, it's actually a bit like a home brew turbo kit you would build yourself, basic little engines but work well!!

Been out for a long journey today and the car was missing occasionally but it cruised on the motorway fine, just under acceleration it would do it. I’ll put the gap back to .9mm and see if it cures it

If it's not the plugs it'll be coil pack or injectors.

I suspect it’s the plug gap. It was fine before I altered the gap.

I always get the plugs for my Twingo GT from RPD. Currently £57 for the set.

D4FT's came with NGK plugs from the factory. (Mine did anyway).

You have to be careful though. 8200587901 is for the D4FT, 224018760R is for the D4F. RPD don't actually mention this anywhere.
