1.2 to 2.0 (Coilover transfer)

I currently have a 1.2 sport replica, im looking at getting some coilovers for it. If i were to do a engine conversion (2.0ltr) would these coilovers then be useless as ive heard you need to change the front axle?

Correct, different hub bolt spacing. 58mm (usually) for your 1.2, and 54mm for a 172 and non cupped 182 then 60mm for a cupped 182. (iirc)

Varies, the 1.2 8v's are mostly 52mm but the later ones are 58mm. Some early 16v's will be 52mm as well but most are 58mm.

i have 1.2 hubs and driveshafts with 1.2 coilovers on my 2.0 conversion

well i have 4pots and 280mm discs on my OE 1.2 hubs, so i didn't see the point in fitting 2.0 hubs

FK's on mine, i got all the bits cheap

we're just about to become an FK dealer, but in the meantime speak to Russ as Gas or John at 2modified
