1.2 tuning

as above is there anything i can but to get a bit more poke out my 1.2 idone full service and new spark plugs which seems tomake it go abit better but is there anything to give it a bit more grunt??

Honestly? No. There are lots of places that well sell you junk under the pretense that the will improve measurable output - in reality your burning your cash.

Other than dropping a 1*2 engine in, not really mate! lol

Enjoy it for what it is, economical little car TBH :)

As Tom says. There's nothing that will give you any power gains. Just wait patiently mate :) it will be worth it to get a few years NCB under your belt and buy a 1*2.

  Mazda 3 MPS Mk1
but the noise makes you think its more powerful...

Im sure after a good clean and a coat of dodo mine has 30% more BHP lol

Placebo power FTW

Was in the same position as you 6months ago. Spent 700quid on the engine, remap and a hydrogen hybrid ( don't ask! ). And it made no difference except raise the rev limiter. On a little engine like that the best thing to do is 'add less weight'. But IMO I wouldn't even do that. Leave it and get a quicker one. Don't waste your money. Honestly.

  Low!
With a sports cat, exhaust, induction and remap you could probably get 90BHP? But for all that your probably getting close to 1K so I wouldn't bother.

Keep the car standard mate.
Save all the cash you would of spent on mod's and put it towards your next car.
Plus, it'll be easier to sell the clio in the future as it wont be modified.

Once you have the car you want, you'll look back and think "i'm so happy i didn't waste my money".
Trust me.

LOL also. The car is 75bhp standard and that is around 10 years ago. exhaust will make bugger all difference apart from sound better. Induction kit will be a heat soaker but will sound good tbf. A remap on a 1.2 is such a waste of money!
Get your car looking nice and clean and save up for a 1*2 and wait till you can insure one

done properly their is gains to be had. mine was RR at over 80bhp in 2006 was 82 or 83 from memory, 5hp may not sound like much but its a big gain on a 75hp engine, of course its a lot of money for a s**t gain, but it was fun at the time, hey i spent over £1500 for under 20hp on my 172!!

you want a cat back exhaust, smash the internals out the cat, panel filter in the standard airbox, a bit of chopping to increase the flow of the airbox, new air feed into the airbox, it can be done for £300!
