1.2l 16v front brake discs and pads

I've recently picked up new discs and pads to replace my old ones with.
I've had a look at this guide : http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?56131-172-182-Cup-Front-Pad-changing-Guide-updated and it seems like a pretty straight forward job (I'm guessing the way of changing the front brakes on a 1.2l 16v and changing the front brakes on a 172/182 are pretty similar?)
Does anyone know the size of the bit needed for the torx head bolts which hold the brake discs in place so I can buy one?
I want to try and get these done in the next week or 2 so any tips/advice is appreciated
 
Yeah pretty much the same, I think the torx size would be T30 or 40, cant confirm though.

Only thing I can suggest is when winding back the calipers, the way i do is is undo the brake fluid cap in the engine bay then use one of the old brake pads on the piston and use a large G clamp to wind the piston back in slowly. Check or have someone check the fluid level as it might rise as the pistons are wound in. A plastic syringe can help suck the extra fluid out if there is any, the syringe is the easiest option i've found as you dont want to get any fluid on the paintwork etc.

And if you haven't changed any brake discs before, use a bungee cord to hold the caliper up, don't let it dangle down as it could damage the brake pipe.

Cheers for the advice, all I need is a syringe, confirmation of torx size for disc removal and I'm ready to get it done I think

Thank you, and yeah sorry that's what I meant. I think they are 35 but can't quite remember :) these come off really easy so you would be able to get them off with a size below or a big flat head screwdriver

Cheers, if that's true then it will be a first for my car, everytime i start doing something bolts start snapping etc.

I might get these done tomorrow, I looked inside the box that the pads are in and found two new bolts:

they look about 13mm, are these replacement bolts for step 3 in the link in the original post?
