1.4 and 1.2 exhuasts

Just need to know whats the difference? will a standard 1.2 cat back fit on a 1.4? they look the same shape and stuff but the 1.4 has an extra silencer? am looking for a replacment standard cat back or maybe a performance cat back? Been offerd a powerflow cat back off a 1.2 16v but dunno if it'll fit.
