whats everyones best timings?

i got 15.5 secs is this about average?

yes, good time that eves if its totally std. Try a decat pipe as a cheap way of knocking a bit of time off.

for an absolute boggo all reno zorst cat on standard air filter etc thats bout right

mine was runnin 14.8/9s all day today but i had a go in jims n ran a 15.3 with a missed gearchange from 2nd to 3rd,so that shud put jims in the 14.8 bracket too although his is chipped

Jon - theres a bit more weight in the Willy 3 (side impact bars, sunroof, abs). Going to be a touch slower. 15.5 sounds about right. Theres no way mine would get under 15 seconds. Was pretty even with craggy, but only getting all gear changes spot on. Also think hed beat Saxo 0-60 so would be ahead like that anyway. 7.4 or so for my Williams (with a decat)

dunno bout mine lol..all i can say is craggys saxo is tooooooooooo close to it for my liking lol

0-60 craggy slightly has the edge but i pull a little back in 3rd but 4th is where mine seems to do the most damage to the sax.

it seems to be 3rd gear where adi has the edge on mine and 2nd n 3rd where mehdis has teh edge on mine, those 2 cars also very close to each other

Rhys, i dont c why u shouldnt get under 15. If Craggy cant get it under 15 sec then there must be summat up with it IMO.

I got 15.5 out of my Valver on my first day 1/4 miling. (IK, Xorst)

Mikey, when Jon ran with all his baby seats and that in, didnt he just get around 15 seconds? Mines a 3 remember, a touch heavier and put out 10bhp less at the wheels as std than jons did as it is now. I guess thatd mean its a mid to low 15 seconds car 1/4 wise.

Just my opnion mate but mine was an N reg phase 2 so cant c why the impact bars would matter. U could hav a tierd clutch if the transmission loss is too high.

Did u strip it out? Have u got a cold air feed to IK? Was ur engine bay temp no higher than a 1/3rd if u were using an IK?

Yeah my best time at York yesterday was a 15.2, Didnt realise how totally shagged my clutch is til I took Jons down the strip

Thinking maybe the lack of bite i have on my clutch is giving me pretty poor starts as i found the take off in Jons alot easier, so maybe a new clutch will have to go in before any more quarter miling can take place

all i want is to break the 15 second barrier so hopefully fixing the clutch will give me a better chance of some late 14s

yeah mate ur car shud have no probs breakin into the 14sif i mis the same change in mine im gettin about the same time as i did in urs

n yeah ur clutch is a little dif to mine lol
