1.4 rt top speed

my car finds it very differcult to hit 100 mph!when i got the car it use to do 115mph. it wont even go newhere near that now.what could the problem be?my 0-60 speed is good and it quick for a 1.4. i need to know how to fix the problem!

120mph fair few times but to get there u need to red line it in every gear

need to get a good 100mph outta 4th before changin

I have managed 127 mph in my Clio RT with headwork, my 1.4e GTS-X managed 125mph on a straight once. Take your speed reading from revs not speedo, 20mph for every 1krpm in 5th

I agree with Soneji. The 5th gear of the RT (JB1 gearbox) can be calculated using 20mph for every 1000rpm.

Mine does 100mph on 5000rpm.
