1.4RT Thermostat location ?

To the right of the engine block. Look for where the water hose goes into the engine (right hand side of engine).

The L bend bracket contains the thermostat.

Hope that helps.
The bend wil also have the tube for the Header take return attached to it.

Unbolt the whole unit, then take the thermostat out then change it.
3x 10M bolts to take the whole unit off.
Watch the water will disappear from the system, good idea to drain the car first before taking thermostat off.

GSF should have it yes. However Halfords may also have it.

Thamks for mentioning the draining the coolent first i think i could of gotten very wet !

Were is the best place to drain the coolent form in the 1.4RT ?

Bottom hose at the radiator end, undo that and drain it. Easy job. Unclick the Circlip and away you go.
