If you find one cheap enough and decent service and wouldn't say no.

I've always wanted to get one for a run about but couldn't afford two insurance policies.

I assume you mean the 86bhp Mk3?

I've had mine nearly 8 weeks now and I love it. Economy is awesome. I drive pretty much under 2500rpm, and I'm getting 60mpg according to the onboard computer. Not sure how correct that is, but I'm on course for a 780 mile tank if the range is to be believed.
Think you'd struggle to get 70mpg to be honest!

I came from a Vectra, and the build quality is better on the Renault. Handles a damned sight better too! £30 a year tax, cheap insurance, and does over double the mileage of my old V6 Vectra. Brilliant buy.
Torquey little thing too.

Ive had 2 dci 86 clios now, good cars, mpg wise 50 -55 around town, 60 on a run.

Our current dci 86 is on 102k, drives like new.

Get a dci86 I had one for three years and it was brilliant, great little car great on fuel and pulled well comfortable cruiser on the motorways, sold mine with 50k on the clock and not a thing went wrong with it, I only upgraded as the GT was a steal for the spec it came with

Mother has one, excellent little car and is ridiculously good on fuel. Buy one.
