1.6 16V & 172 Brakes

Been looking at 1.6s, does the new 1.6 dynamiques have rear disk brakes and are they the same set up as the 172? Also same question for the earlier mk2s such as the 1.6 16V RSi.

my 1.6 has drums at the rear(2002 dynamique).

i think ones that have traction control will have rear discs

Nope rear brakes are different on the Renault Sport than the normal cars as far as Im aware. Only the dci 100 and 1.6 16V have rear disk brakes which are the same as the old MK2 phase1 1.6 16V had.<- I hope that makes some sence.

The 1.6 and 100dci have disk brakes and Im sure Ive seen 80dcis and 1.4 16V with rear brakes but maybe they were in France

ive seen mk2 phase 1 RSIs with and with out disks ive also seen phase 2 1.4s with disks and phase 2 1.6s with and without disks i just think sometimes ren put what ever they want on
