1.6 16v mods??

  E36 M3. 182
hi all, thinking about how i want to mod my clio, think a replacement panel filter, new exhaust manifold, sports cat and cat back system mite be worth investing in. anyone know where i can get these, how much for and how much power would i gain? also fancy lowering it a bit, how much could i get away with, bearing in mind its on the standard 14" wheels with 185/60 tyres. cheers

Very little for the money

To go quicker, then this is your best best, suspension and brakes

Depends what setup you use but I had them for ages on both my CLios and speed bumps weren't an issue and it was quite low.

i'm down 85mm and i can JUST get over most bumps thrown at me!

Coilovers rock! best buy ever!

what sort of coilovers work the best, how low can i go without changing the wheels/tyres? can i fit better brakes under stock rims??

I have FK's but it depends on what sort of ride you want i love mine just the type of ride i was looking for! (cheapest ones too)
brakes are good as is.. get some decent pads, grooved discs and decent hoses and your jammin!! You'll out corner and out brake a std 172 (proven fact) :)

Get a new set of rims, thats your best bet!

I'm 85mm down on ma std rims at the moment and only slight scrub on full lock!
