1.8 16V Rear Spoiler Attached How





Have you actually removed the spoiler mate?

Are you on about the 2 screws either end or the ones holding the plastic clips on?
 


the 2 screws go into the plastic clips. removing them will not make anything leak!!

the spoilers usually bonded on aswell, will come off with a bit of gentle persuasion.

Your having a laugh!! I had to pull mine to f**k to get it off!! Then it sounded like it was cracking!!

Stiff as f**k to get off, just give it some good hard Yanking:eek: and dont pull it from the end try to pull it off as near to the body work as possible!!

Nah, seriously - thanks for the info. Hopefully getting a new spoiler soon so didnt want to feck the window or something getting the old one off!

i know, but you cant say that can you!!! if he starts gentle then he will get pissed off and yank it anyway, but if he cracks it i wont be liable!!!!!
