1.9 DCi! - Talk to me...

  Titanium 182
Get one of those sporty 107's with the double eit exhaust and stripes !

they look well fun :D

aygos are pure utter filthy fishy gash IMHO

  Dirty E91
I've got the 120 hp DCi in a 04 Scenic, get about 450 miles out of a tank thats a mixture of town and A road/motorway driving.

  Oil Burner
the 02 dci 65's were £35 a yr tax as well

I have owned an 02 plate dci 65 and an 04 plate dci 80

Both £35 a yr tax, low insurance group (4 i think) but the 80 is by far the better version. My 80 is more economical than my 65 was. Doesnt struggle to make hills etc... you dont have to drive it like your hair is on fire to go fast.

Like my 80, it will keep up with a 1.4 clio/corsa and do 56mpg when your trashing it, or a little bit more when your not (yes it says 65 on parkers, but thats coblers, no-one drives like that)

I would not bother with a diesel the way the price of diesel fuel is going, how about a C1/107/Aygo - 60 +mpg and £35 a year tax or Toyota Yaris - 50 + mpg and £120 tax now, then going down to £95 from 2010.
MPG wise means ther still cheaper to run.
1.9 advice please!!
Forget it rubish engine realy particulat the cars there bolted to only in megans/laguna etc.
and is there a 1.9 dci? I think there was a 1.5 65 / 1.5 80 / 1.5 110 but a 1.9?
There no 1.9 in the phase 2

1.5 comes in
65hp 68hp 80hp 86hp and 100 hp versions
Clio DCi's come as 1.5, 65, 80, or 100.

2002-2006 megane dci 80s an100s
the 2006-2008 are dci86 dci106 or a 1.9 130 2.0 150

irc the 106 is only 35quid a year to tax
Nope 106hp version isn't the cheap road tax.

the rest are bar a few auto dci's which are in the higher band,

how about a Smart diesel?

only available LHD tho in the old shape model. going for abt £4-5k for a decenet 50k miles one.

no road tax, and apparently will do up to 90 mpg!

unless u need rear seats........
