1 Week Insurance - Please help

I know i have posted a thread similar to this before but i would just like to confirm something.

I have my clio insured with Quinn Direct with my dad as main and me as named. Because the clio is in his name at the moment.

I am planning on going to the leeds festival in August and i my mum has a VW touran which would be great for getting there and back with all our stuff.

I think someone said before i would be able to add the touran to the quinn insurance and then take it off after? Would i have to pay for a whole years then get a refund of unused or will they do it for a certain price?

I would just like a definate answer so i can go just say to my mum. I can get it insured for a basic amount on my quinn policy or whatever because if i know for sure what needs to be done shes more likely to say yes lol.

take full yea insurance out, cancel it after a week, u get 14 day cooling off persiod, will cost u nothing.

I'll be 18 in August as birthday is in 9 Days (01/07)

So i cant get short term insurance. I will check out quinn direct and give them a call and ask etc.

If your over 21 Nowrich union you can then insure it for however long you want between 1 and 28 days, or take out a new policy as said and then cancel it.

Just dont crash either way
