My windscreen now sports 3 fresh chips and a crack LOL

2x Airfield days, 1x windscreen with 1x crack around 15 cms long, 1x small central chip and 1x bullet hole lookalike chip near the 15cm crack.

At least I never replaced the windscreen when the 15cm crack appeared, last november.

Won't be doing anymore drag racing, just racing around the course for me from now on.

Drag racing seems to inflict the most damage, rarely see stonechips etc from the actual timed circuit runs.

I could've done with a crack! Give the insurance a reason to replace my windscreen which needs replacing...

I picked up a puncture, but don't think that was during the drag... although the nail Rob removed from in front of my front tyre was a concern!

Just watched it, you can see him take the nail from the front of the right-hand silver Ph1. Cor, you see the start I got, that's launching.

Didn't do myself any favours though as I saw the guy who jumped the gun, went to go for it, wondered why I wasn't moving much and realised the handbrake was still on

hey whats a little chip here and there it it happens was well worth it i could have spoken to dan through the window at a 100mph 2 foot apart at this cost you cant get to the paddock at most events. and most of us did it 3 times

I'm kinda glad now that I stopped on the start line and didn't go in that vid. I was taking a nail from just in front of the next car's tyre and when blokey started the race I was still just sitting down!

I was wetting myself! I saw the guys jump the gun, floored it, then wondered why the car was just kind of wheel spinning. Then I looked at the dash and saw the STOP and SERV light on and thought oh crap the car doesn't like me caning it up and down here, then I looked at the hand brake and twigged...

the surface is much worse than it looks in the pics/videos.

There's was a lot of stuff flying around in the drags, but the actual surface for the timed laps was very good.

Its a different runway from the original one,after the farmer sold up.Fubs is on about the older one I think.
