Started yesterday, finished today. My 182 has had the full monty!!
Engine bay cleaned with Auto Glym engine cleaner & Auto Glym vinyl and rubber cleaner:
Yesterday washed with Meguiars NXT shampoo, clayed all car, cleaned wheels with Meguiars hot rims, polished wheels with Auto Glym super resin polish, waxed wheels with Collinite 476s, used Meguiars endurance and Auto Glym vinyl and rubber cleaner on the tyres. After that it started to get dark so put it in the garage and called it a day.
Started again today with a quick wipe down with a microfibre. Set up the PC and put a layer of Clearkote vanilla moose wax (to get rid of any tiny scratches), next up came Poorboys polish, then Poorboys EXP sealant (left on for about an hour to give better shine). With the on this gave me time to clean the engine bay. Once the sealant was wiped off, next came the wax. I used a layer of Meguiars No. 21, then the 2nd coat of wax I used Meguiars No. 16 (mirror glaze). After this I used Auto Glym bumper care and Auto Glym vinyl and rubber cleaner on all the black bits i.e. grill, mirrors, splitter etc. Finished off with Auto Glym glass polish on the windows.
The sun wasn't out, so it was a dull day and the finished result is:
Chuffed to bits, don't want to get it dirty now!
A couple more of when I put her away in the garage:
Comments welcome.
