Viceroy, stick the 102 RON in, dont expect miracles as theres more to fuel than RON ratings. You should get an improvement though.
The ECU is more than likely the same aswhats used over here, these daysd most chips tend to be ok for 91 ron +.
However tio get the actuall benifits disconnect the battery for an hour or however long it takes for it to lose its learned settings reconnect and drive.
It will run at standard map in which there is no pullign back of timing etc, you may even actually get the 172 bhp.
However when you go back to the crap fuel it may pink for a while but it will adjust to the lower RON fuel.
Ron, this is the rather pansy test they do, MON is much more applicabe to your needs, but the 172 will periodically check and alter the max ignition timings.
