14" or 15" alloys?

Ive got 16"s atm but looking for a new set, should i get 15 or 14 inch alloys? I want to improve the handling as much as possible not too bothered about the looks!

what car? 14s wont fit over 1*2 brakes.

tyres for 14s are cheap as chips, but 195 50 15 V PE2s are £45 in costco inc vat n fitting!

already established:

14's - Cheaper tyres, look worse
15's - Generally more expensive tyres, look better

well 14s will give better accel to a point
