15" oz f1's wheels on classed as a mod?

Got some 15" oz f1's to go on the car in summer, do insurance companys class this as a modification or not? going on a 172 cup.

As it didn't leave the factory with them then they do class it as a mod yes mate.

I do the same with the f1s and i told them that they're Renault oem fit etc and he said it didn't matter. Ive got down that i rotate 3 sets of wheels, (summer, track and winter) and it didn't cost me anything. With Greenlight btw. Better to be save than sorry!

i am definatley going to tell my insurance company, was just wondering as my 15" steelies that are on at the minute are fine, told them about putting them on and they said its no problem, hope its the same for the f1's, ie no charge :)

same here mate, 3 sets now, lets hope there's no charge, as long as know thats the main thing.
