15"s feel so much better for some reason... if i was replacing the wheels on my 182 they would be 15".

How much of that is down to the tyre width rather than the actual wheel size itself ?

Dan Cup has 15s on his motor!! the Speedline Cup Racers wheels in white!! they look awesome on his motor and not outta place!! however he is on H&R's which will make a difference!!

no idea., but yeah it could be down to the 15"s having 195 tyres fitted.

I drove a few Pug 205's GTi's a few years ago with tyres going from 185 to 205 width rubber - anything wider than the factory 185's and it felt over tyred, same is true for the 172-182 I expect. Would love to drive a 182 on 185 or 195's.

Unless you're Schumacher, you'll notice next to no difference in the way the car handles...it may feel slightly 'softer' from the higher relative sidewall.

Day to day normal driving it will feel different though, bet they will not tram line half as much on 185's say as they do on 205's.

I could notice the differnce between 185/55's and 195/50's on my old car, you will notice it more than you expect from general ride right down to how the turn in feels.

well the readon i want 15s is that i already have a set of ttyres for them, and i thought on both my clios that 16s looked a wee bit big but now i think 15s looks a wee bit small...

15 1/2s anyone lol

As said, day to day driving, you'll notice hardly any difference. It depends if you take it on the track - you'll notice the difference then - two or three corners of hard cornering, and you'll have lost your branding off the side walls of the tyres - LOADS of flex!
When you think that the combined contact patch of all four tyres is less than a size 7 footprint, is it really worth skimping on tyres? I know that for me, the bigger the contact patch, the better.
