16s or 17's

  EK9 + Mfactory gearing..
standard 172 mk2 offset is ET48.5, ET38 is good, iv had these with no rubbing etc & mine is lowered

If you put light weight 17's on (they weigh less than 15's) and a GOOD set of tyres. There is not much difference at all.

Most people put s**t tyres on 17's because of the cost involved.... There is more tyre on the road....

  193 mk2
i went up from standard 16" 172 mk2 alloys to 17" o.z. superT's they looked good but felt like s==t, then i changed to 17" superleggera's which are nearly half the weight of the supperT's and less weight than the standards & they feel great!!! the moral of the story is if your gonna go up make sure there light weight!!!

I have 17inch buddy club P1's on mine, i have crap tyres though.

Don't forget, the tyres that come with the RSC are designed for the car...

its cruize or crooze not cruise :p

17s for show 16s for go. a lightweight 16 will always be lighter than a lightweight 17 and then there's the tyres to consider too the 17s will be heavier.

yep, mk 2 ph 2 wheels are et48.5

i went to et37 superlegs and they really fill the arch better.

  Megane Trophy
car has tsw's with yoko's on at the moment and it handles very well, i would like to keep that much the same if i can, perhaps lower the car before long by 40mm etc if i get the 16's or 17's

  Megane Trophy
