16v brakes on a 1.2 phase 3

ne one no if its poss to get valver brakes on a 1.2 16v! im looking at doing it but dont wana purchase ne til i no for sure that they will fit!!!! ne help will be cool!!!
 


sorrt i made a mistake above!! it ait a 1.2 16v! its a 1.2 spi mk1 phase 3 the very last of the old skool mark 1s!!! my bad!:oops:
 


I getcha now. I was thinking mk1 1.2 16v huh? lol!

They should fit, they do on the 1.4.

Dont know if the 1.2 is different though.
 


front brakes would be a straight swap but the rears are not so simple you may need a rsi rear axle(same brakes but axle isnt as wide,valver axle may cause your wheels to catch the arches)
 


right ok next question... wot should i expect to pay for a set n wot should i replace on them as soon as i fit them to my car??
 


replace the pads might as well for £15

i bought a set of valver calipers, vented grooved and drilled discs, braided hoses and pads for £80

most standard valver setups go for £50
 


Calipers - £40 for both (including everything to convert front to them)

Discs/pads - £66 from Euro Car Parts - Brand New.
