16v cam advice

I wouldn't bother personally I'd get a 2.0 bottom end its more power and you also get more low end power which makes it easier.

How much am I looking at for the parts + labour roughly?? Cheers, Sam
£250~400 for a bottom end (prices seem to depend on so many factors plus you need the correct sized starter motor)
£100 for an engine out
£100 for the engine back in
£100 for striipping the head down and swopping as such.
When its out its work changine bits whcih if they ever fail will cost a fortune as the engine has to come out ie oil pump etc. Plus you need a new head gasget and cmablet so say £150 for that.
You realy need a remp but you ca get ECU chips for £50 or so which you get plugged in whcih will adjust the fueling to compensate for a 2.0 bottom end with a valver head.

So all in I'd say £800 but I've seen companies advertise 2.0 bottom ends fitted for £400 even if you need the new pump etc thats still £600 all in with the chip.
