16v steering wheel?

Hi all, i have just bought a 16v steering wheel and put it on my rsi, now i have to turn my indicators off manually because of it and the wheel rubs on the plastic surrounding all the stalks.

the plastic is no problem, i can sand that down but i was wondering if their was anything i could do about the indicators as i thought everything was the same apart from the steering wheel in the dashboard!!!

am i missing something or has others had these problems?????

Should be a straight swap - everything is on the steering whee already - inc the boss! :S

I have no problems with my 16v wheel on my Rt. Hope you get it all sorted mate.

basically, unbolt the rsi wheel, bolt on the 16v wheel
should not affect anything except cosmetics.

i think youve borked it :s

i cant do anything different though, as you said, i unbolted the other steering wheel, (airbag wheel for sale by the way) and bolted this one on and still have no indicator boss....
you can physically see the difference between sizes of the part that hits the indicator stalk?
