16v sump fitting

To fit a new sump does the engine have to be lifted? (on a 16v)

no it all unbolts from underneath likt 20 odd bolts, well was on my clio ne way...

I need to replace the sump gaskit on the one I am getting, should be fun.

Does it just drop out or have you got to remove other stuff to get to it etc.

me and my mate got round this by using alloy epoxy paste or something...sealed the unit up and is rock hard etc....ive also machined a sump guard.
