16v/Willy bonnet/vent question

Does the 16v or Willy need the vented bonnet to fit the engine in or could it still work/fit in ok with just a standard rl/rt bonnet for example. I know that no one would do it a the 16v/willy bonnets look ace + mean anyway but just curious

The bonnet needs modifying slightly IIRC but it will fit just...

Don't forget though that the vent plays an important role in cooling, or help cooling the manifold
