16Valver Dying

Anyone experienced proplems with power on these. Driving the car back from knockhill 2day, It felt really weird putting the foot down! the dash would rattle a lot (as if the car was strugling to deliver power) there is normally no rattles when the foot is down

I had a Similar thing happen mate!!

It was due to the rocker cover gasket leaking oil into the plug holes. O cleaned them out and replaced the Gasket. Hasnt done since.

But could be loads of things. Something like Fueling. Pm BenR

Yeah, could be something cheap as it sounds like a new rotary arm is needed perhaps.

Might also be a transmission problem. Check the diffs - they usually make a lot of rattling when they go.
