17’s, 40mm drop - Tracking

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

Hmmm, seems to be a problem having the tracking done on my car. Basically the bloke took one look when i was having new tyres last wee and said

"what on that? not a prayer mate"

dont see it being a problem unless the gauges he had fit over the wheel to set tracking and dont have enough space between the arch and the tyre, seems odd tho, try somewhere else he was probably being awkward

take it elsewhere then, the gauges for tracking at work dont go over the wheel so there must be some place that will have similar gauges

thats the one, thats the way to do it, big triangle like things which stick to the side of each wheel to do the alignments.

Ive got -60mm springs on the front of my motor, and it took me ages to find somewhere thatd track it up (with the car being sooooooo low they couldnt get the valance clearance for the lazer).

But I went to Bush tyres in Hull, and they did a full 4 wheel lazer line on the car, and tracked it all up for £25.

The thing is with my car being too low, its put the camber out so it wears the inside edge of the tyres a little bit quicker than the rest of the tyre.
