17 inch Alloys

hi
just lowered my phase 1 sport by 30 mm, would i be ok putting 17 inch alloys with 215/45 tyres on ?

not sure if they will rub but i'd put 16s on mate, just perfect for handling

My mate put 17s on his car and it drove and handled really badly,he's now back on 16s, so i'd just stick with 16s
