17 inch tyre pressures

Hi there,

I can't seem to find the best pressures for my 172 RS.

205/40/17 tyres. Have you guys come across some nice settings for road use?

I tried 32,30. Bit weird at the start, not used to hearing the tyres screeching.

But definately more grip. Cheers.

29,26 seems a bit low for what I'm used to?

No problems with rim damage? roll? tyre wear etc?

^ Bit high that...Tyres won't last too long, Fred's pressures are set for lowness obviously..

When i had my tyres fitted, the people at kwick fit put 43psi front and back in mine, wonder what they were thinking when they done that, i normaly run 33 and 31 but that was on 16's and i havent had the 17's long so i'm just testing them out, arent you suppose to run higher pressure if you do lots of motorway miles
