172/182 Headlights

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the headlights on a 172 or 182 and my dynamique ones as they looked different at the Renault garage today?

Dynamique and other base models have normal halogen headlight units.

The 172/182s come with Xenon (HID) headlamps.

You could have them on your base model too if you paid extra to have them fitted when the car was manufactured.

So could I buy a pair from a 172 or 182 and fit them myself. if so is it an easy job?

yes you could but you would need the xenon ignitors and ballasts for the lights too mate.

You won't have proper zeons as you need the starters etc from a correctly equipt car.
You can do the conversion the parts plug in.

172's have a black inner casing and 182's have grey.
