172/182/v6 airbox

Firstly, sorry if this is a stupid question, but would any of those airboxes fit a 1.2? and if so would I notice a difference? Not power wise but would it sound better?

just stick a K&N on if you want noise mate. I've got one i need shut of if you're interested.

It depends how big the pipe is that goes to the throttle body from the air filter. The air filter on my 172 is quite big and it's mounted next to the battery. A universal cone filter should fit but it will be getting hot air fed into it from the engine bay. You'd be better off getting a performance filter that fits your standard air filter housing.
