172 aircon removal

I was wondering if the 172 cup uses aircon or not ? and if not can i use a cup bracket to remove the aircon on my standard 172 ?

ok thankyou , ive seen a couple of these cup brackets up for sale, would there need to be any modifying at all ? belt the same size or different ?

They use a different belt, good thing is the cup alternator set up belt is only £10ish from Renault.

i.e. in this listing is that all i would need + the belt ?

Full setup is required if you want to do it properly.

upper bracket, lower bracket, belt, alternator and tensioner.
