172 alarm

had the car for about 4 months now havent noticed this problem till recently

the alarm seems to be going off about once a day for no real reason, possibly cars driving past or something dunno really.
i've noticed it going off outside my flat and its been brought to my attention its been going off in the car park at work.

on opening the door the alarm led is giving two flashes which, according to the manual, indicates 'additional sensors' set the alarm off.
what sensors are these? are they adjustable or something?

any thoughts?

additional sensors are like tilt or movement sensors. And i think on some arlarms you can alter the sensitivity...
