will 172 front arches / bumper bolt straight onto a normal 1.2 16v?? just curious
so if i got a 172 front bumper / arches, they would fit right on no probs?
how much could i pick these up for 2nd hand, preferebly in pearl black?
not that im trying to build a 172 wannabee, i just think they have a better appearance

im assuming a rear bumper would be a direct swap tho, no problems?
There will be no problems as they all have the same attachment points. Remember you then have to paint those bits, and you cant guarantee an exact colour match. As Tom says your wheels would look a joke so youd have to get different ones anyway.
Youll also bring the whole 172 rep down when you get your ass whupped by some kid on a scooter!

Im thinking of the same mods, in pearl black! I was also told skirts and inner arches were needed.
I actually witnessed a golf driver driving into a scooter driver in Charlton yesterday. The golf driver was accelerating then backing off while the scooter kid was hurling muffled abuse from inside his helmet whilst standing on the scooter with his middle finger up. I know i shouldnt be in support of someone getting run over but i f**king hate scooter drivers, unless theyre driving those Vespas.
