172 Boot solenoid

So having recently purchased a 2002 172 the previous owner highlighted an issue regarding the boot solenoid.

It had locked in position apparently the day before I went to see the car and he managed to get it unlocked although now the boot is always unlocked.

I believe this is a fairly common fault with these cars and I am after some advice regarding the part I need to rectify this and also how easy it is to fit and sort out.
