172 bumper to 182 bumper

Has anyone done this with there rear bumper, is it essentially just the same bumper but with the cut outs and the exhaust surrounds on it?

Yep. 172/182 bumper is exactly the same, except for the recess for the exhaust.

probably, you'd have to be exact though if you wanted the little plastic edging bits

I've seen a 182 rear bumper on a 172 a few times. I don't know why but I don't think they look 100% right. It could just be me though.

Why bother? 182 exhausts look cack compared to a decent recessed 172 exhaust.

I'm still unsure about doing it, i like the stealth exhaust but i think the twin exhaust of the 182 looks more sporty, and i will be putting 182 wheels on it too

Completely pointless IMO.

Just cut yours up if you want the 2 cut outs, but id keep it as it is TBH.
