172 CD changer in a 182.

In 2001 I had a 172 with the CD changer under the passenger seat. Is is possible to fit it into my 05 182? Will the wiring be there or would I need to buy it? Is it an easy job?

think you'll have to buy the cable. but should work

Cable from rip off renault or can i get it from Halfords or some where like that?

I havent got the part number, but I fitted one to mine. Its a 10 minute job tbh. Wire goes under the plastic around the doors. Couple of cable ties to clip it at the top etc.

IIRC its supposed to go under the carpet down the centre of the car.

The brackets are different on the ph1/ph2. Only £7 from Renault.

The tray thats under the passender seat fits under the drivers seat so you dont have to loose that either.
