i could get you the price of the brakes fitted and could do that anytime. be a week or so before i could do the clutch though(got loads on at the moment) and i would need a hand lifting the subframe and gearbox on/off.

Is a clutch covered under warranty? Or at least, too a degree..? Mines starting to wilt at 27k.

I recall that the clutch on the Evo long-term Cup went at about 32K, and it was replaced by their dealer under warranty. Im sure in the article it said that they saved something like £300 by getting it done free of charge.

Id say at 27K you should push quite hard for it to be a warranty issue?

Thanks. I appreciate it is a wear and tear item, but theyre designed to last much longer than that which is why i was thinking it was a warranty job.

Hopefully luck will be on my side when i visit the dealers..

Mine was fooked at approx 18K.

They told me it was abuse, I disagreed, (well you would wouldnt you) they reluctantly replaced it under warranty.

They quoted me £480 fully inc initially, but then I whined like a b**ch and they backed down.
