172 clutch....

Ive been noticing for a while but is the 172 clutch up to the job??

Thought it had been slipping a few times and then went out 2day after the rugger with 3 other mates in the car (fat b******s) and booted it off the line, going from 1st into 2nd there was NO bite at all,

6k in 1st into 2nd, revs stayed at 6 k untill the car caught up.. Am i expecting a little 2much from the car of does this warrent a trip 2 reno

not, its not a great cluch, you need to be kind with it and standing start fast shifts can slip very easily.

i have found that on a roundabout wasntfun at all cars coming towards me andsuch a bad smell

Ok thanks, i thought i was askin a bit much to do a standing 0-80 4 up.

After a few track days mine gave up @ 7k miles!!
