172 Crank price

regrind the crank.. again...

or even a new crank if the price was reasonable


you read the head rebuild thread and saw the vids yeh? massive bottom end knock...

the head is good though, so could easily just swap the BE's over...

Like mentioned in another thread, got a decent block lying about. The head is scrap but it was running when i removed and no bottom end knock, done 60k.

just buy a new engine mate, can get a good running one cheap enough now, and you can sell the head as good and rebuilt.

or, the crank wont need grinding again surely! just take the lot to a machine shop and get them to sort out bearing clearences and the like
